The importance of ecosystems is vital in sustainability and development policies, this focus has been driven by a recognition of the magnitude of ecosystem benefits to people and economies, as well as the consequences of their loss.
We develop an outline for rapid spatial assessment of ES that relies on expert and stakeholder consultation, available data, and longitudinal analyses in order to identify sites providing multiple benefits.
